Immigration

Details about group: Whether with or without documentation, many immigrants have lived productive economic and family lives in our state for decades. The inflammatory language and aggresive new mandates have brought fear to immigrants in our community.  As one of our members said, there is no immigrant unaffected by the new reality, either personally, or through family members.

This group is committed to learning and sharing the rights and services available to immigrants.  We are committed to increasing safety and decreasing fear for individuals and for our whole community Resource: Immigration 101 is recorded from a presentation given on March 2nd at the Seattle Public Library.  Worth every minute, this is detailed education and action pathways presented by the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project.
